It was the Guitar line/intro that I wrote first. I wanted a saucy blues, garage attack.
I imagined a sleazy fifties racy paperback story with a film noir mood.
The title and chorus came first, and once having that, the lyrics started to develop and flow.
It’s a “Pretty Woman” story but with a disastrous middle and ending. What came out, what you hear, and what you get is a “Raucous Rocker”!!
